Hi!

I love my new Lumia 920, but I have the following problem: I cannot use any of the Twitter applications, because the option that makes the date & time settings automatic is missing (I can only change the 24 hour format). According to Twitter, this option would solve the problem. Any ideas?

I got this message when i try to log in:  Your username and password could not be verified. Double check that you entered them correctly and try again.

My username and password are correct ( i can log in with IE).

The auto time update switch is missing? is your location services turned on?

Go to settings ,scroll down to location

EDIT: yes, my location setting is on.

Can you try reset it? Settings -> About, and choose Reset Your Phone.

I do not have the automatic time and date setting on my Lumia 800 and I have no issues loging in to Twitter at all.

Have you tried to connect while on a Wi-Fi connection..

Try deleting the app and reinstall it and make sure your using the correct case when entering info.

I tried to reconnect my wifi. Nothing happen. Btw my 3G and Wifi are fine. Other social apps are working.

I tried several twitter apps.

Rowi: Look like you've entered the worng creds. Make sure your user name and password are entered correctly.

I am sure, my username and password are correct. (100%)
Twitter app reinstalled... same problem.

Cant both be wrong double check your credentials .HIgher/lowecase etc.

I appreciate your help, but unfortunately that's not the problem. My credentials are fine. I can login with internet explorer (on my phone), but i can't find a working twitter app.

If you can log in using IE then there is nothing wrong with the time setting of the phone. I use Medoh myself, as said have no auto setting either and have no problem login. So I somehow doubt it's an issue with that..

How many? REMOVE all but one,just try the official windows client first,they all can be wrong sereously.

You should  select show password when entering to double check the characters
