Nokia Lumia Batteries

[ Edited ]

Nokia is the only phone I have ever used and it was because of their battery, mainly

I recently purchased a Lumia 710 and the batteries are worthless.  I even charged a battery and left it on my desk for a couple of hours and it was dead without using it.

There are several remedies.  Nokia replaces our batteries now with a good battery.  They replace the phone or they return the purchase money to anyone that was hoodwinked or they return the purchase money to whoever opts for that.

If they don't do any of these things voluntarily within the next 30 days, we then begin a class action law suit.

I am already taking names and address and phone numbers from the dissatisfied.

Firstly, this is a user to user support forum, so your demands here will probably not get very far. Better to contact Nokia directly using the "Nokia Support" tab at the bottom of this page.

Secondly, this is not the right way to start a class action suit. There are procedures. The first thing you need to do is to contact the vendor you bought the phone from because they are the ones with whom you have a sale and purchase contract. You don't contact Nokia directly until you have exhausted all avenues with them.  If then you still don't get a satisfactory response then you start thinking legal. It would be different if you bought the phone directly frm Nokia.

Re: Nokia Lumia Batteries

Most Lumia owners found their phone settled down after a week or so to have enough battery power to get through a day. As cjlim says if yours is really that bad take it back to whoever supplied it for checking repair.
Talking about a class action for a mobile phone is ridiculous. Not everyone likes Windows OS but there's not the remotest suggestion Nokia have universally sold defective goods.

Re: Nokia Lumia Batteries

I bought a Lumia 820 specifically because it was the only Windows 8 phone with a replaceable battery.

But nobody seems to be selling replacement batteries (or their chargers).

Including Nokia!!

How lame is that?

Anybody know of a source for Lumia 820 replacement batteries?
