Nokia Lumina 920 Cell reception with AT&T

Just want it noted that my brand new Lumina 920 is getting 3 bars compared to my old Samsung Focus which get all 5 bars.  Something I hope you guys look into.  Thanks

Re: Nokia Lumina 920 Cell reception with AT&T

Just a comparison. We are on AT&T.

We have two 920s. Our two previous Sony phones would drop calls if we walked around in the house. We had to be in the LR or back porch to stay on a call.

With the 920s we can walk around on a call, haven't dropped one yet.

Having same signal issue as Ross. Brand new 920, shows 1/2 the signal in same places as did my old Krazr.

AT&T Sales tech is wanting to try a new SIM card.

Guess its worth a try, before I give this fantastic phone back and see if this "signal" thing is not SOP.

Re: Nokia Lumina 920 Cell reception with AT&T

Do you have the latest update instslled on your Lumia 920?

That's the problem. Causes horrible issues on the ATT 920s. we have 30 deployed in our company and every single one is acting up after that update.

Re: Nokia Lumina 920 Cell reception with AT&T

Considering this is a 1 day old new 920, it likely has the update.

Thanks for the tip, I will mention it to the AT&T Tech when the replacement SIM card does not fix it.

What was your company's fix? Have the update uninstalled?
