Switch off mobile data and you're set.

In all honesty though these phones really need an active internet connection to be used to their potential.

just got the new lumia 620. so far so good. but the problem is , my phone keeps restarting by it self. Does anybody else faces the same problem?

Is the phone having corning gorilla glass?
I'm thinking to switch. I have a Lumia 710 and need help comparing the two phones. What will I miss out if I get a 620? I don't want to downgrade in any of the features.

The market really needs a 'Lumia 720'.

No, the 620 does not have Gorilla Glass. But to consider that a downgrade would be pushing it. The phone is superiour to the 710 in just about any other way.

My phone is prone to getting scratches because of my routine life and the atmosphere where I live. I've also read some reviews which say that the touch is a bit unresponsive on the 620 which is not the case on my 710 at all. That is making me rethink about the 620. I do not afford an 820 and 620 isn't giving me 100% satisfaction. Should I wait for a phone which fits in between these two?

you can always invest in a case or screen protector if you believe that your phone will get scuffed up due to your active lifestyle. I wouldn't base my decision on some reviews saying that the 620 screen is unresponsive, do bear in mind that this may not even be the case, and a subjective opinion of a reviewer thats way too fussy.


We don't speculate on rumours or upcoming devices, but i think that the 620 is a great little phone and i'm digging the lime-green colour that you can get of it. Its a cheap and affordable introduction to Windows Phone 8 and has some great specs. i'm sure if you lay down the cash for it, you won't regret it.

Can anyone know the launch date of Nokia Lumia 620 in India. I couldn't find proper information on any sites.

You need to ask Indian retailers or contact Nokia India directly. This forum doesn't handle release dates.

hi mate,

have you tried performing a soft reset (pressing the volume down and power buttons together) and ensuring that you have all the latest Nokia system apps installed from the Store?

actually i did the whole restart in the about option in the settings. and it is still the same. oh well i've send mine to the nokia care centre , in three days time we will see. Sad huh? bought a new phone but can't use it.

Must be an app in the background which caused it. 512MB RAM, 1Ghz processor too less for WP8?

well i also suspect is the apps giving problem. For now I hope they can do something with the OS. if the problem still persist then Win 8 for L620 has a big problem. dont know about the 820 or the 920. Don't know if Nokia will refund my money..

Heres my situation - Nokia lumia 620 - Camera fails to function. Using either the screen or dedicated button results in a blank screen (apart from 3 icons at the bottom) then reverts back to the previous screen after a couple of seconds. Have update and reseated the back cover to no success. Soft reset and Hard reset used.  Everything else seems to function properly apart from the camera and any apps requiring it. Even checked to the camera itself for impeding objects....

Had my l620 checked in to the Nokia Care Center. It has been already 5 days. What's going on?
