Is it possible to keep the music player active?

When I go to the gym I want to be able to see the music player while running without fumbling with buttons after it times out and turns the screen off

I know this will drain my battery faster but don't care about that

All you need to do is press the lock key on the right hand side to turn screen back on.

I know that.....like I said I would prefer to NOT fumble with buttons while running

hi Raybz,

what you are after is the Setting for the time-out of the screen. Go to Settings > Lock Screen > Screen times out after > Never.

I was going to suggest this but defeats the purpose,never is not an option on my 820 5 mins is then max.

weird that there has been reports of it varying between handsets Jimmy..... would have thought they would all have the same gamut of options for it.
