Hi,
Well, nokia windows phones are pretty nice. There is a lot of people complaining about them here but honestly they are very good phones,
My main problems are with ovi maps in the web. The amazing integration with nokia symbian phones makes easy to plan a route in your computer and have it in your phone with just one click. The navigator drives you to every point of the route which was a very good feature for salesman or drivers.
You cannot do it with the new lumia. In fact you cannot plan a route in your lumia. As this is only a database sync between your phone and ovi maps I cannot explain this feature omission.
Also you cannot click in nokia maps or ovi maps in your phone and go to the location, you need to open nokia drive and paste the address!
And for the music you cannot go to the middle of a song or a podcast clicking the bar the in the native media player, is really annoying, like playing a cassette in 2012.

FYI ovi maps is now Nokia maps.
Windows phone uses address links to open up Bing maps by default this is built into the OS.
Nokia Drive is only an app and not integrated into the phone like Bing maps.
There are changes coming to Nokia Drive soon that will improve the experience.
There are other changes happening with Nokia and Bing and in the near future they will eventually become the same thing. So in regards to your issues, the only answer is be patient the changes will come. It prob won't be till wp8 comes out at the end of the year though. Probably not the answer you were looking for.

Don't worry, I suspect that for Ovi/Nokia Maps the featuresyou mentioned that I liked too were removed to be in line with what WP could manage. Recent announcements suggest old capability is coming back into the product, and hopefully it will continue to evolve.
