Will we ever be able to sync our credit cards and pay with our phones through the wallet app and NFC? I would love to have this option on the Lumia 822, but it seems to be missing at the moment.

Well that is the plan according to the announcement last June, but I dont think it's been launched anywhere yet.

Not available yet, there has to be approval from the banking / network carriers before any apps are made available. For example, Vodafone here in Australia is apparently working on such services and will implement it by mid-2013 on Android devices, and WP8 is in the works too.
