Hi,

I have nokia N8 installed with Joikuspot. Recently i bought Lumia 920.

WIFI from N8 is detected on my laptop and able to connect the internet.(Working Fine with N8)

Problem with 920:

1 . My N8's WIFI connection is not detecting on 920.
2 . Problem with WIFI sharing from 920 -- connecting the WIFI but(No internet ..) Kind of thing is comming.

Did any body got this probelm ?

Please help me to fix this problem.....

1. The Lumia 920 does not support wireless ad hoc network which is what Joikuspot does. This is why the it isn't detected.

2. Most common reason for this is your network not supporting tethering on your price plan. Contact your network to confirm this.

the same sim card used in N8(WIFI and Internet working fine) changed to 920.

Internet is working on 920..i am able to sync my outlook too..I think it is not related to network..?

did i need to do any settings to enabule WIFI from 920 ?

Yes you do. You need to activate Internet Sharing. You can do so by going to Settings>Internet sharing>slide slider to the "On" position. Note the wifi name and password listed on the screen. you can change both by tapping on the "Setup"

I have tried all the settings you told on top of tha i have done some reset settings related to DNS in windows 7 PC too.

Nothing helped me

How to verify the problem is in Phone or PC. any idea ?

No.I am not getting any error..My PC is connecting with(no internet access).
