Push mail not working on my Lumia 900. I am always online via wifi. E-mail is syncing only manually. I changed the settings to sync once mail arrives. Still, no automatic sync.

If you are only online on Wi-Fi and unless you then insure the phone is never under lockscreen you will only have a connection when the phone is connected to a charger.
When locked and not connected to a charger Wi-Fi disconnects. In the store there are apps which will keep Wi-FI active,

So you find the app in the store on your phone and pay it through your normal method of paying for apps.
OK, let the spoonfeeding begin;
If this option is not available to you download the app Esponce QR Reader or QR Code Reader as an alternative.

Thanks for your support and understanding. Really appreciate your effort.
The problem I am facing is as follows:
I found the application in the market place and willing to pay US$0.99 for this.
When I click buy, it took me to my Live ID profile. I am not able to make the online payment. By default, the country is showing as USA whereas I am living outside USA. If I provide an address, it is not accepting.

Go to https://live.xbox.com/AccountMigration and change your region to the correct one. You can also open a PayPal account and add that as a payment option in http://account.microsoft.com
As all these issues are related to a Microsoft service you might want to contact their support on this

I changed my location and added the payment method. However, this application is not available for download in my region (United Arab Emirates).
