I replied to the main topic but thought this deserved its own thread.
Has anyone else not received notification of updates? I haven't received one store notification for an app update in a week, including all the recently updated Nokia system apps.
Is this a known issue?

This is a Microsoft Marketplace issue. Temporary workaround is to match the phone country and phone language to your live id country. Example, if your live id country is UK, the phone country should be UK and language English. Tr that and see if it works for you.

It's all set to US.
Should I try the UK?

Why not? Worth a try.

Thanks!
How long would it take for them to show up?

Good question. Update notification seems to be random. A bunch of us have the same version phone but non of us are getting the same notification for the same updates at the same time. Mine seem to arrive sometime during the night because I usually see them first thing in the morning.

So no updates shown and apparently this has been an issue since WP7.
Am I just supposed to not receive system updates now? I don't get how they cannot have a check for updates option.
iOS had then since its inception. From now until I get a new phone I'll have to check for regular app updates manually? Or does anyone plan on fixing this?

Firmware issues are out of Nokia's control and should be reported to Microsoft using the link below.

They listed QR codes to get to the extras+info and network+ updates.
Can Nokia list codes for the other system app updates?

They might not, but we can. Use link below.

Note we suspect one of the updates is causing the remove from charger sound and also possible causing the phone to freeze for some users as well. So user beware.

TY!!!! ![]()
I don't have Access Point, should I install that? I only use 920 on AT&T, would this help the wifi issue?
Thanks Again!!

I have Access POint. It is for setting up operator apn's, MMS apn's etc. Nothing to do with wifi though. Like I said, one of them is hiding a dark secret we think. Don;t know which.

Thank You.
Does this app allow me to use my phone as an access point without additional charges?
2012-12-11 17:32
No, the app to turn your phone into a wifi hotspot is called Internet Sharing. You should already have this. Will only work if your network allows tethering and your network data charges may apply depending on your tariff.

Yeah I have that, didn't know if this was a way around that.
No harm in hoping. lol
TY again, you've been a great help.
