I cannot find how to set up a repeat SMS tone for missed messages. It means you have to keep checked your phone all the time to make sure you have not mssied anything. Does anyone know how to do this? The tones on the phone are not load or long enough either.

That is just awful i keep missing messages. Is there nothing that can be downloaded

It has been put forward to have the softkeys light up,but your lockscreen should show notification anyway.

So even if your screen is locked and blacked out it should still show message has been received?

Once you hit the power key yes.

You can use your own personal tones if you wish read this guide use own tones

Thats my problem having to keep hitting the power key just to see is you have missed messages. I dont use my phone that frequently so its a pain having to keep checking. Is there no other way i can do this. Can you at least change the ringtone to something thats much longer and louder

This has been put forward as a suggestion.. .similar to the Notification lights on the other Nokia devices that keep flashing for the missed call / messages ..so IF implemented just by looking at the behaviour of the Softkey lights (without unlocking the blacked out screen) you know of any notification..

Currently you cant do anything but hopefully when implemented you can just watch your phone rather than having to anything .
