Following a reinstalling OS via Zune the Lumia 800 phone is fine except I cannot resize the tiles (only pin unpin).

The Firmware number seems ok and zune says its "up to date" - any ideas?

Are you still on version 7.10.8858.136?

Is that all tiles or just some of them ? What exactly are your Firmware and OS versions ?

So you do not have WP7.8 which is version 7.10.8858.136. You will need to update to this version to be able to resize your tiles. If Zune is not giving you the update option and you can't want, you could always try your local care point. Contact them first and see if they will update for you.

The 7.8 upgrade has been withdrawn, so is no longer available through zune.

It should also not now be installed by a "Care Centre". One of the potential problems is excessive data use, I would wait to see if there is a fix.

Thanks, I will just wait until the new bug free update is available - shame as I had got used dsplaying a more tiles and using larger sizes for most used apps. The battery life has reduced by a day as well!
