Touch screen vibrate won't work?

I could swear that when i pressed something on the touch screen it use to vibrate. and when using the keyboard also.

Back, windows and search still work but.

I use my Nokia as a riot Shield.

Or am I just being silly and it never vibrated when something was pressed on the touchscreen?

No, there's no way to enable haptic feedback (Or vibrate) on the Lumia phones. Only the capacitive buttons would work (With the exception of the Lumia 710) and you can't disable it.
