Will Lumia 800 get USB OTG support. I read that currently WP7 doesn't support OTG. Whether Lumia 800 has the hardware capability for it? Will it possible to get it on future OS updates?

At present it is not yet known if it will get support for this in the future. At this stage it is entirely Microsofts decision if they will allow that feature or not so you may want to ask them.

Personally I don't expect to see this feature any time soon on Windows Phone, almost certainly not this year.

One more question. USB OTG support is H/W or S/W dependent? Or both?

Both, as an OTG host device needs to be capable to power the peripheral which requires different capabilities to a conventional USB device. And to be truly OTG compliant you need to have a diffrerent USB connector on the phone - it needs to be a microAB connector which has a square metal surround compared to the standard trapesoid in the microB.

So if the Lumia doesn't have a microAB then the chances of it ever supporting OTG are close to zero.....
