Hi all, I have been trying to update my Lumia which I haven't updated since I bought it in February this year. When I try to update in the Zune software, a message tells me my phone is up to date.

The current software loaded onto the phone is version 7.10.8107.79 which clearly is an older version.

The precise message I get on the Zune software is as follows:

"Your phone is up to date

Current phone software version: 7.10 (8107)"

Also, no updates are found when I check for updates on the phone itself.

Has anyone got a solution for this? It will be much appreciated.

Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums.
Is it possible you can tell me your product code on your device? You can find this on the Sim tray of the device.

Thanks for your feedback.

The previous version of the software for Lumia Windows Phone was;

OS version 7.10.8107.79

Firmware 1600.2487.8107.12070

If you have this version (you will find it through Settings>About>more information) you will receive a notification for the current update shortly as the  update is now available for your productcode. The current update roll out started 27 June and will take 3-4 weeks to complete.

@roccchi;  The same goes for the product code  059P0H4

Thanks again for your feedback.

This update is not the Windows Phone 7.8 update, that will be available at a later time. At this moment it is not known when it will be available except that this will be after the general availability of WIndows Phone 8.

Hi I have nokia lumia 800 which my sister brought from U.K . it was all region free as she offcially purchasaed the code in U.K and broguht it to India for me. i was able to upgrade the OS to 7.1 but i am not able to upgrade to the latest versions which are 7.5 and 7.8. Please advise what could be the reason and i request you to provide a solution.

The highest available software version for the phone model is shown on Nokia website, but the mentioned version may not always be correspondingly available as an update for your phone. Availability of the update depends on many factors, such as existing software version on your phone, regional restrictions, and approval of the software by your network service provider, operator or carrier. It may be due to one of these variables that currently the latest available software for you is of a lower software version than displayed on Nokia website.

A couple of weeks ago I got a notification on my phone informing me that I have an update - I have tried updating my phone a few times since then but each time when its reached at about 80% completed, my laptop crashes and shuts down - there are no other programmes running in the background. When I tried to update my phone today its saying that there are no updates available, why is this? currently im on version 7.10. The only number that i can see on my sim tray is 059N7K7.
