Hi all, well i have yet another variation of problem with Lumia 900 BT; I can get mine to connect to my 2011 Audi Q5 MMI system and everything works beautifully...for a few minutes and then BT will turn off on the phone! When I notice it has disconnected from the car i check the handset to see BT is turned off. If I turn it on it will connect, everything works again for a few minutes until my handset turns BT off again.
Of course Nokia have suggested it is my Audi.

Very informative description of the problems...I got a new Lumia 900 replacement from AT&T yesterday and, exactly the same problem. I am at the point where I am thinking it might be a good idea to try another Windows phone

Hi snoopyjy,
I was having the exact same issue with my bluetooth headset. After tinkering, I found out that the issue was with my Telecoil settings in the "Ease of Access" menu (which is located towards the bottom of the Settings menu). "Telecoil" was turned on, and after turning it off, I found that phone calls were now being transfered to my headset as they should.
Check to make sure your "Telecoil" setting is turned off, then see if it will work.

Exact same issue here----- I got a replacement phone last week and had paired it with my two vehicle [Acura and Lexus] without any problem but when a call is received, it stop the audio but will not transfer the incoming audio to the radio. I know this is not windows 7 Phone software problem because I had Samsung windows phone 7 before Lumia 900 and, I did not have such problem.
Can Nokia people investigate this problem and tell us what is going on? I will have to change to another phone if we cannot get this problem resolved.

I got my 3rd replacement earlier this week and on this one, the HF seems to be working so far. It is still a disappointment that a product this good can be bedeviled by a problem of this nature without either Nokia or, Microsoft been able to tell their customers what exactly are the problem. I was initially going to get the Lumia 920 until I read that even that has more problem of the same type.

Hello Nokia
1.
Is this something that will be fixed?
I have a Lumia 820, and can not make it connect to my car kit in my new car due to Lumia´s lack of support for SAP.
What is the workaround here?
2.
It does not seem clever to migrate to another technology without having in mind that the device in this area needs to be compatible with existing technology implemented in quite many cars..

I'm on Chevy's Camaro 2012.
The regular "Your Device" phone call bluetooth works as it should when paired with the Lumia 920.
However when paired with the stereo portion of the vehicle "GMusicConnect" even encoded at 96KHz (Maximum allowed, equivalent to Blu-Ray audio quality) WMA Pro the audio sound washed/drowned out as if the it was playing at less than 10KHz.
It seems like it's a software emulation issue for the bluetooth device on the Lumia 920?

Hi Dear,
I can suggest you one and most effective method to make it working . according to your problem voice is not routed on the Car speaker Plz accept call and then put your handset On speaker phone and then disconnect this call for rest of the calls audio will be on the vehicle or car speakers . i Tried this method and now my system works fine . i am a Infotainment engineer .
