It's known that the Lumia 920 is in high demand and that there have been shortages for a while. I in specific ordered a Cyan Lumia 920 (through my father) on November 21st, 2012 for AT&T through Wal-Mart. That's kind of a mouthful there... Anyway, today, the phone still hasn't shipped.

Now some of you may be thinking about why I haven't gone to another store, well, there are no Cyan Lumia 920s anywhere through AT&T. If there were any out there I would already have one in my hand. Sure there are still a shortage of phones, but do shortages usually last over 40 days? This doesn't seem to make much sense to me. How could I ask Nokia directly about the stock of their phones?

Please, someone help, this was a very disappointing holiday season because of this massive backorder.

You cant ask nokia as to their stock amount.There is a shortage on the 920 regardless of the colour.

Well, that's too bad.

There doesn't seem to be a shortage of Black and White phones though.

That's why I have a black one. You might consider a skin. I've used DecalGirl and they are very good looking. They only have Lumia 900 at the moment, but I just chated and they suggested Lumia 920 in the next week or so, after CES.  http://www.decalgirl.com/info/devices.htm

Yeah, I would have gotten a black one but the deal where you get a free charging plate is now over. I have already placed the order for for the Lumia 920 for $50, so... I'm not sure spending double that and not getting a charging plate is worth it anymore.

Scratch that last post. I just looked again and the deal was extended. I might have a chance.....

But I still really want a Cyan.
