Hello, I bought this Lumia 920(WP8) .

but I can't find some wifi access to us

 while using iphone and nokia c600(symbian)

there are six result after searching 

but for windows phone 8, there are only 4 results

 I tried someone's Lumia 800, it was the same

Maybe Windows phone has some rules blocked the access from searching

is that so

how to solve it ?

I honestly wouldn't panic over the fact that the 920 sniffs out four WiFi networks compared to six for the other phones you have. As long as the phone sees the WiFi networks that you wish to connect to, that's all good. Sensitivity may be different for a myriad of reasons, but under Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 it works great and connection is instantaneous.

The 920 supports WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n, EAP-AKA, EAP-SIM, PEAP-MSCHAPv2, WEP, WPA, WPA2 (AES/TKIP), so you're plenty covered there .

I am using WP8 with L920. Trying to connect to my office's wi-fi network which has WPA-TKIP. Everytime I try to connect I get the message - "Your phone couldn't reach the Wi-Fi networks". Admin guys says we don't have any cert; as it should be auto connected with username/password. So far iPhone or Android devices are connecting automatically.

What might be the issue here?

thank you for your reply. it is true it can search and find out many wifi access points.

however I use the one which is point-to-point (computer to computer, the signal is sent by the computer)

the sign is not a router but a computer

others are not mine

Nokia C600 can find it and connect and use it very well

i just wanna know if there is any setting we can make to help and find this wifi access

Thw wifi on your computer is probably ad hoc mode. WP8 does not support ad hoc mode and uinfortunately there is no way around it.
