Hi warren76
1) Try signing in with your Microsoft Account/Windows Live ID on this link.
2) Tap or click Edit personal info, please make sure that your Birth date is correct. Double check if there is Home Country/Region set on your account, if there's none please complete all the information for your account then don't forget to click on Save button.
Alternatively you can sign in to Xbox LIVE using your Microsoft account and follow any prompts to accept the Xbox LIVE Terms of Service.
Hope this will help you buddy! ![]()

Hi there.
I have been experiencing the same issue for a while...And luckily i found a way to solve this.
pls share it out if you can fix this also so that more people can use this good phone.
1. Go to window live.com and log in.
-> Select your country and address correctly.
2. Go to Xbox.com. Log in with your live.com account.
-> Choose billing account setting. (at left bottom corner) Input email so that they can send you a code.
-> Input the code , follow the steps and actiavate the account.
-> Go to privacy and online setting (at right bottom corner)
-> Check all the boxes to 'everyone' related to data and profile sharing and save it.
3. Open your phone and open Xbox game center and wait for it to synchronize the Xbox accound setting.
THen it should be fine for the App store downloading.
P.S. I always wonder why microsoft cant fix this simple problem and post it out the solution publicly .
Letting users searhc so hard to find such solution is really stupid for you! mircosoft!!

Sorry to say but this method didn't work for me. The error code is still showing.
And now for a rant: I got my Lumia 920 when it released in Australia. Randomly I got this error and couldn't download apps for a week. Then I somehow fixed it by installing an app through the Store Deals app, which I already had on the device. Then my Lumia got dust in the front camera, so I took it back to Telstra and they sent it off for repair. A week and a half later, I got it back with the dust still visible in the camera. I sent it back, and then a week later it returned with around 8 large scratches in the screen, which was in mint condition before I sent it off. I sent it off again, and a week and a half later it came back with a new screen and no dust. I am just waiting for the phone to have the same problem again, as I've read up on the reason why it got there in the first place. Just to keep things interesting, my lumia is now showing that damn error again, and try as I may, there's no way to get around it.
Dear Nokia, Microsoft and Telstra. This experience has been very very bad. I will not be buying another Nokia product, nor another Windows phone, when you can't get the simple stuff right. I don't care about an optically stable camera, wireless charging, or whatever other spin you put on it, when I can't download apps, or even make calls because there's dust in the camera lens. What's the point of having a smartphone that can't even do these things right? There are thousands of people with the dust issue, and you haven't even announced any official fix. Times may be tough for your company, but failing to address your shortcomings will not make them go away.

Microsoft does report that Xbox Music and Video (aka Zune) is having issues for browsing and purchasing items and we’re quite certain that overlaps with the Windows Phone Store. The good news is Microsoft is well aware of the problem and on top of it, meaning this could be fixed by the time we post (or be a few hours).
Update: Looks like Bing, Xbox Music + Video and Windows Phone (all separate, but related) are being affected. Yikes.
