Hi guys,

I've received my Lumia 800 today. All went well until I tried Wi-Fi. It seems that wifi is not working at all. It's just stuck on the "Searching..." and not a single network appeared in the results. Mobile connection works, I have installed all the updates (including 7.8), tried hard reset before, numerous reboots, changing the regions, etc... I'm 100% positive that there are a lot of visible networks available (checked on my other phone/laptop), none of these are on channel 11 or 13. Is there any way to check if the built-in wireless network interface in the phone works, to be sure that's the problem so I can send the phone back?

Just to add, phone is fully charged and airplane mode is off.

Since you only just got the phone, you should send it back. It is obviously not right so get it exchanged while you still can.
