Does any body know when lumia 920 or 820 is coming to vodafone Ireland?

They are on nokia.ie as coming soon, but not on vodafone.ie???????

Saw the Nokia Ireland announcement. They mentioned the phone being available from online sources from the end of Jan but did not say which. No news from any of the Irish networks yet. You ill need to get on to Vodafone Ireland directly if you want to know if they are planning on stocking yet. They will probably launched it in tandem with their 4G network. Good thing I already have mine and dont have to rely on them. I havent actually bought any phones from any of the Irish networks in a long time. Prefer my phones bloat and branding free. Much more reliable and cheaper too in the long run.

TRUE. But they also have the L710 on that page, but never had it available.
Someone at Vodafone is sending out mixed messages.

The phone has been on the support pages a while.
ive personall asked all networks are they stocking the 920 none will give me a direct answer ,meteor ireland have said its too expensive to stock which is rather silly

Sadly its not all that true they have said its not available,it was meant to be available today.
IT WONT BE until mid feb or mid march

hi all.

i went to one of my local vodafone stores today to purchase the lumia 920 on 24 month contract at a cost of €150 only to find that they dont have a demo model to show me, and then not even a dummy display model so as to get the feel of the size and weight. ok just give me the phone so. to find that they dont carry any of them in stock and will take a few days to come in, then they want a €100 deposit non refundable before its ordered.

is this normal ?

i left the store without placing the order for the phone i went in to buy.

seems to me they are not really interested in selling that handset.

if it was in stock i would have bought it

Yes they ask for deposit, but if they don't have phone they have phone you get deposit back. To be honest don't give them a penny until the phone is in stock and you have seen it.

I would rather get the feel of it in my hand so as to see it's not to big before I sign up for 2 more years

Yeah when you add cost of trip its pointless,some voda stores have them but very few,you might want to ask on their forums,but 02 Have them ,they are in black.
