Nokia network setup app is missing from Nokia lumia 710 marketplace


Please help me .....
I am unable to run internet on my phone

Hi adityadaliya,

As it appears you are from India the network setup app is indeed not available there at this time. You do not need the app to setup your Internet connection though, if you go to Settings/Mobile network>add apn you can enter the settings for the internet accesspoint you use manually.

Have you tried contacting airtel directly for these settings?

Airtel 3g Manual Setting like -

Setting-Mobile Network

APN-airtelgprs.com

some time work slowly but not properly on lumia 710

However network sharing through wi-fi working speed properly on laptop.

It doesn't work at all.. i've tried in docomo by adding APN as advice by docomo customer care

APN: TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET .

However, It works for Airtel APN: airtelgprs.com but very slow. Sometime it doesn't work.

Why can we have Network setup app in the Marketplace for india.???

Please provide suggestions to enable internet access in nokia lumia 710. Or else its time to put in garbage and no more nokia.

Dont be sad... I had the same problem and now its gone.. 

First check ur 3G balance by dailing *123*11#

If you have sufficient data available follow the below guidelines and steps or else recharge for 3G Data and follow the guidelines once you have suffiicient balance. 

1. Go to “settings” -> mobile network -> add/Edit apn ->

enter the following fields:

 * apn -> airtelfun.Com

 * proxy server/Url -> 100.1.200.99

 * proxy port : 8080

2. Save and wait to allow the settings to be activated.

3. Restart the device.

After that your internet should start working."

Thanks. Thanks a lot. The settings worked when I had lost all hopes on airtel 3g. My Idea connection was working fine. But Airtel 3G was not working at all or very slowly as has been reported by some other users. I had tried all other options. But finally your settings gave me relief.
