My phone was working fine but then suddenly the soft keys stopped working. They work every once in awhile but for the most part they don't. My phone does have a hairline crack on the screen, but the phone's touch screen works perfectly. I was wondering if I could send it to the repair center and just get the soft keys repaired without getting the screen replaced because I know that the warranty does not cover physical damage and I do not wish to pay for a new screen.

Can you try a soft reset first to see if it fixes this Press and hold the volume keys and power button together for a 3-5 seconds it should vibrate
It maybe a case where your hairline crack could be an issue though and effecting the function of the softkeys

Yea I tried doing a soft reset and even reset the phone back to factory settings and it still doesn't work. I doubt it's the hairline because it's been there for months and just barely a few days ago they stopped working. I just want the soft keys repaired but how much would a new screen cost?

A new screen would be costly contact you local nokia care point for an estimate.
