 When I receive an email and I want to forward it with my own changes it is impossible to edit the text. It is only possible to copy from the recieved text.

I am using the phone for work therefore it would be very important for me to be able to edit incoming messages and forward afterwards.

Is there any way to solve this problem?

I don't think you can. You can't on the 800. Big downside for me, there are plenty of occasions one might want to edit parts of an email before sending.

This is one of the most basic functions!!! I am furious, cause if I knew i wouldn't have bought it!!!
