Both software of PDF and Nokia maps not working on Lumia 920. Finlan

How is it not working? Is it crashing out when you start it or something else?

When trying to open maps app it says problem with app, and either i should try to buy or uninstall and reinstall. Not working at all. Beta drive works though. With PDF it gives error when trying to open a document...

Did you update Maps recently? If so then I know what;s wrong. there was a problem with the update installation file. The fault has been fixed and you need to uninstall, redownload and reinstall maps.

With regards to the pdf reader, which reader are you using?

It has not been fixed in Finland, tried 2 minutes ago.

This was only fixed an hour or 2 ago. It may take some time for it to repopulate globally, so try again later.

For pdf files, there is a free pdf reader available from the store. Its from Microsoft & it works quite well.

yes i have the pdf reader from ms and no the maps and pdf do not work still.

Maps should be fine after you uninstall and reinstall with the fixed version. Should just be a matter of time before the fix gets to your region. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the pdf reader as well?

is anyone who still have problem with nokia maps after update ..here in italy are over 30h from update ( my case) and still same problem its say,, unistall or buy,, i did many of un-reinstall but nothing same error ? now in nokia store write " publisher: nokia corporation, last update 08/11/2012, version:3.0.113.8,,  this is not working what version  do u have now ??....really im tired of this lumia 920 always bugs,errors,problems etc etc ..im using nokia since was the nokia 3310...before to buy the seller from the shop said to not buy lumia and buy Samsung SIII bcoz will be full of error ,starting to believe that

Not working for me either. Have tried to unistall it 3 times and rebooted my phone also. Hope they fix it quickly here in Finland. I'm hungry and want to find a restaurang!

Still not working in Finland. Have tried to reinstall Nokia Maps multiple times but same "uninstall or buy" problem. Some users in Finland are reporting that they got it to work after reinstall and for some it didn't work? Thought these updates are regional so what's up?

Patience guys. I'm sure you will get the fixed version soon enough. Though the update was regional. Maybe I was wrong. Who knows? Main thing is its fixed and on the way.

I just got my new 920 yesterday and there was a maps update available for it. After installing the update, maps will open and try to find my location, but immediately crash out. I love Nokia maps on my old phone! Please fix this with an update or something!

There is no update required for this. Try uninstalling and reinstalling Maps from the Marketplace. Also make sure Settings>location is set to On.

I had the same problem with maps until I uninstalled, restarted the phone and then installed again.
The satellite version is very bad after the update.

yes i have the same problem with nokia maps. it used to work then an update came and it stopped mid-way through download saying 'attention required.tap here'. i did and then it says 'retry'. then it tried to re-download and mid-way error re-occurs. problem is there is no option to uninstall (its in grey and doesnt work). please help anyone!!!
