cant send or recieve picture messages on lumia 710,cant see why not,any advice?

A Lumia phone will read the settings for Internet and MMS from the SIM at first use if available.

After that settings for Internet will be read if another SIM is placed or can be manually entered by creating an APN in Settings > Mobile network > add APN, but not MMS. If these settings are not on the SIM they need to be entered using the 'Network Setup' application which can be found in the Nokia Collection on Marketplace.

This application will allow you to set Internet and MMS with pre-configured setup for your carrier or manually.

Also certain carriers, Virgin in my case don't support it on the Lumia !!

Install this, and if it doesn't work, contact your carrier and check they support MMS on the Lumia !

Did a search in zune market place for "nokia collection" and the reply was 53 social members?????

Hi leucarum,

When you open Marketplace on the Lumia you will see the available categories, the first one will be Nokia Collection on a Lumia family phone.

you cannot acces Nokia specific apps or the Nokia Colection in Marketplace on a PC

Now solved after - going online,2 phone calls to vodafone tech team,2 visits to the phone shop and one to vodaphone shop. Why it was so difficult I dont know,virgin next time.

so what was the solution - I have same issue and so far have gone online & had 3 calls to vodafone techies to no avail!!!! Ta

problem has returned no data connection at all even with 4 bars on signal meter phone going back and cancel contract soon,**bleep** off waste of time and money.
