Hello!,
can be expected to have the ability to connect one cable lumia on tv and thus have a mirror effect as in presentations and WP LUMIA? Everyone do it and now, even Apple.... DLNA is a heresy! you must have an internet connection automatically and last generation tv! On Symbian phones this was possible and very useful!!!!!
More over if you can now have very good games!
On WP presentation (2012/06) ,We can see at the end ,a lumia 900 on the big screen which is connected by a cable! So wy don't we have it yet? Is Windows phone Mango software the reason, or a stupid policy of Nokia?
Thanks.

Hi jibi,
Thanks for posting and welcome!
The technology you see during presentations requires specially prepared devices with a fully unlocked Windows Phone OS and requires additional hardware to which the devices are connected. It is not a feature available in retail models.

I had the same question. It's sad that the Lumia doesn't support MHL. At some point in the future most households will probably have Internet connected TVs but in the meantime we're all left in the dust. MHL support would have let us easily hook the phone up via HDMI to a TV.

In the Nokia Beta Lab there is the ' Play To ' app. It had ben in development for a while and will soon be released to the public. Works on DNLA devices like my Xbox. The app is free to download. All that is required is registration.
I've got it and it works great.
