Oh well. thanks a lot Nokia, I have now purchased a Lumia 920, the 900 will be on Ebay in the near future. At least the 920 "does what it says on the tin".

I flashed the 7.8 update when it was put up on the servers and I'm happy with it so far.

The home screen is the only major change, but there are nice additions like more tile colour choices and the option of using Google as the search engine in IE.

I'm just happy to see Nokia pushing new apps along with the update to extend the functions of the phone. Can't say I will ever use the bluetooth sharing but it seems to be something a lot of people are very keen on having. Looking forward to Cinemagraph though!

Take ur Nokia to any Nokia Care centre...they flash it with 7.8 for free...been a month since i am using 7.8...

I use Lumia 800 and stay in Delhi.....there's a huge hype going on in the social site about nokia windows New update for Lumia 800 but whenever i look for Update it suggest my cell has the latest update.

Is new update for Lumia 800 out in India or I have to wait a bit more to experience the same?

my phone does not notify me when new update are available
i have gone through the process that is=settings and i choose notify me when update are found but still doesn't get any notice

If you still didn't receive the notification for software update best to check with your network provider if they already approved the update, you may refer on this link .

Looking fvor the canadian release date: Firmware is ready to go...When do we get to the good stuff, I would like the phone to finally live up to the hype of last fall which made it my choice for the next couple of years
