Trying to use Ovi Suite says this phone is not supported why????

Are you still with OVI Suite ? or using the latest version of Nokia Suite from HERE ?

Try a Factory Reset to the phone and then see if it makes any difference ..

Or..Install the latest version of Nokia Suite from the link provided ..

I know strange!  Its finding the phone but saying not supported. I cannot connect as no USB on this model phone only bluetooth.

I cant see it in the list phones yet maybe why u think??

it does pick it up on the older pc suite....i will install new report back

well no go even on my Ultrabook..... the Computer Pairs ok its the Suite, How sad......Please fix it i have to use my old phone now i need my OVI Suite (((((

Since this is a User-to-User Forum, you need to report the issue at Beta Labs after logging-in with the SAME credentials that you use on this Forum ...

BTW, how do you know it will work with the OVI Suite ?

i did report it to beta labs, but said no plan on adding it, no reason why bizzare! i ilke to use Ovi suite so dissapointing.

i think that that device will not fully be supported on Nokia Suite anyway....due to there not being a widespread nature of connecting phones via Bluetooth to PC's, and not being easy to use as using the USB interface. Suppose you can always leave feature suggestions, but as you said Bilbobaggins, adding it is very unlikely, i would say due to the reason i stated above. It is one of the lowest of the low-end devices, and due to its price point etc well thats another reason too.

I actually use BT not cable, with my old 3110 that's the Irony of it and works great, yet i update phone and i cant , can you see my point??...just i loved Ovi suite so dissapointing. I know the 206 is low end cost, but still unless there is a techniqual reason i cant see why not since it has BT anyhow the 206 ?. The Asha300 connect to Ovi fine, that's a low end phone, anyhow not much i can do eh!.. thanks

i see your point, but perhaps they don't and for cost reasons chose to omit the USB port and hardware on the 206, and hence didn't see a reason to develop and support it in Nokia Suite either, as they anticipated that not many users would take the Bluetooth route. you can always leave feedback by clicking the Nokia Support link at the bottom of this page, unfortunately, that is all you can do, sorry mate.

Hi all. Nokia 206 doesn't support Nokia Suite. If you want to use Nokia Suite with S40 phone, for example Nokia 206, Nokia Asha 300, Nokia Asha 302, Nokia Asha 305, Nokia Asha 306, Nokia Asha 308, Nokia Asha 309 and Nokia Asha 311.

My Nokia 206 Dual Sim

- works great with my old Nokia PC Suite (7.1.62.1) It's the best!;

- works with Nokia Suite 3.4.40 (IT'S COMPATIBLE!!!) but

- doesn't work with the latest Nokia Suite 3.8.30.

WHY???

Nokia are you kiddin' us??
