Having been forced by my fully functional earlier version of Nokia Ovi Suite to upgrade to v3.1.1.90 I have started experiencing problems synching calendar and task items.

I have tried "Repair Synch" but it still doesn't work.

I keep getting "Error code: 80043b07".

Attached are various log files.

Your prompt assitance would be greatly appreciated.

I am using Nokia e71 (in India) and also using Nokia Ovi Suite 3.1.1.90.

Sync works for everything except for Calendar/Tasks.

I tried several times to repair but no luck.

Can anyone please help.

Cannot sync with this application.

There was a problem in syncing your calendar items and tasks. Please restart Nokia Ovi Suit. If the problem persist, try repairing Nokia Ovi Suite or check if there is a new version of Nokia Ovi Suite available.

If you still experience problems with syncing, select Sync -> Repair sync. This will repair any defective sync files. After repairing, you can start syncing again.

@sankb99: I asked IceBlerk to go to Options and select the relevant Outlook folder again and in his case this solved the problem. Even though your error code is different, we believe that it is caused by the same issue.

Please, go to Tools --> Options --> Calendar and tasks and click the Change button to change the Calendar folder. Choose a folder and click OK. Repeat the same for Tasks folder. Close the Options dialog and try to sync. Let me know if this solves the problem.

It seems that you do use Oracle Beehive for Outlook integration. Am I correct?

Correct.

It was working fine with earlier version of Nokia PC Connect Suite.

because i like the new Ovi Suite and it is good and easy to synchronise.

I am sorry, but for the time being you need to continue using PC Suite because Nokia Ovi Suite does not support Oracle Beehive. We will evaluate if we can enable the support on a later release.

I have a Nokia X7 and going in Nokia Ovi Suite, going to Tools-->Options--Calendars and Tasks and clicking on change, changing the location (selecting the actual location of Calendar and Tasks of my Working PST, which in my case is my mailbox) Worked like Magic... thanks a Ton ...
