Hi,
A few days ago I installed Nokia Suite 3.6.36 to connect my Nokia C1.
Every time my phone connects, Nokia suite opens. It even does this while I've got something full screen (i.e. when playing a game or watching a movie). I don't want that (it should just connect and not open the Suite window).
I went through the settings and deselected "Open when a phone is connected" under "Options" -> "General".
This doesn't have any effect though. Nokia Suite keeps onening each time my phone connects.
Is this a known problem? Or am I missing a setting?

After changing the Setting to 'Not to launch on connection' ..did you EXIT the Nokia Suite ? To make sure reboot the PC and check again..

Thank you for your reply.
After I marked the option, I exited Nokia Suite.
My mahcine has rebooted several times since then, but the issue has not been resolved.
I also intalled Nokia Suite on another machine and it has the same problems.
Attached is a screenshot of the setting that I disabled.

Do you require 'Start automatically at startup'? If not so keen, disable that too and see if it makes difference ...

I really like the option to open at startup so, when my phone is connected, it is automatically synced, I'll get notifications on my PC when I receive a text message and can access a lot of features from my phone.
I can exit Nokia Suite complete eacht time I leave my PC, but that would would make the (not working) option useless.

Hi,
I notice exactly the same behaviour, Nokia Suite 3.6.36 on Windows 8 64bit. When Nokia Suite is running in the background, regardless if it was started manually or automatically, it pops up everytime my N8 connects, despite the setting in Nokia Suite. Clearly a bug.

Yup, My Nokia suite has just updated to this version, and its doing the same.
Can we have a new version with the option working again please?

I have exactly the same problem.
Not restart nor reboot doesn't help.
This is a real bug. Waiting for fix. Don't know how to downgrade the version.

Rather than searching an option to downgrade you may try the latest Beta version from HERE . To download the installer, you need to log-in using the SAME credentials that you use on this Forum ..
