I updated Nokia Suite with the new version 3.4.49 recently and after that I am not able to install any app from Nokia Ovi store. Whenever I click "Download via PC", the Nokia Suite gives the error "Can't connect to service".
Please refer to the attached image.
How to resolve the issue?

That is right. I can login and get the maps.
However, if I go to Nokia Store within Suite, I can see nothing. It says "Sorry. There are no files available for download".

Hi Kangkan,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the forums!
If you have a firewall software monitoring all network access on your computer, please check that it allows Nokia Suite to access the internet. Sometimes, when you update an application, the firewall software will consider the new version as a new application on the access list, so it may be automatically blocking all the traffic.
Let us know if this helps,
Puigchild

I have verified with my Firewall software. And also tried with another computer. But there is no success.

That issue looks like a bug or a problem with the latest stable version of Nokia Suite (v3.4.x) or It may not released for the model C5-05. Even though, I have tried the latest beta version of Nokia Suite(v3.5.x) but the same issue is continued. ![]()
Now I have switched back to the old Nokia Suite (v3.3.x) and it have worked fine & well. ![]()
Awaiting for the solution with latest Nokia Suite.![]()

I have the same problem. (I have a Nokia 5230.)
Where did you find the previous Nokia Suite version 3.3.x for download?

You can do a search by specifying version like Nokia Suite Webinstaller v3.3 on Google or your favorite search engine.

I tried and as it's a web installer it automatically downloads 3.4.49, which throws up the same error message for me. I'm trying a reinstall now, having downloaded something claiming to be an earlier version. Earlier versions don't seem to be available through safe channels.

You can get it v3.3 from http://nokia-pc-suite.en.softonic.com/.

I have filed a bug report about this case to the Nokia Suite development team (the error was reproduceable with Nokia Suite 3.4.49).

same problem with my girlfriends new Asha 305. I installed Nokia Suite to download apps, and it is clearly connected to the server because I can search and browse without any problem. However when I click on download and install, it coughs up the 'can't connect to server' error. Very frustrating. Fortunately my new android phone works without a hitch, over the air and without any need for buggy nokia crapware. Goodbye Nokia, you made some nice phones but your software is bleeechhhh. and don't get me started on windows 7/8, how dumb was that?

Copied from a member of the Nokia Developer Team. It worked for me.
"This problem can be also because of expired certificates that you have on your computer.
To remove the problematic certificates, do the following:
On your computer, open Control Panel and click Internet Options.
In the Internet Properties window, select the Content tab, and click Certificates.
In the Certificates window, select the Trusted Root Certification Authorities tab.
To sort the certificates, click the Expiration Date column header.
Select any GTE CyberTrust certificates that have their expiration date in the past. You should be left with one GTE CyberTrust certificate that is valid.
Click Remove and, when asked for confirmation, click Yes.
After the expired certificates have been removed, please restart Nokia Suite and try signing into your Nokia account again"
Good luck!
