The product code is also in the available Belle upgrade liste, but OVI says Software not compatible.

SIM is from Luxembourg.

I got my N900 recently replaced with an E7 (german keyboard). So far my experience is ok. Not the best but also not too bad.

Now I would like to update it to Symbian Belle. When I try to find the update in the latest Nokia Suite version. I just can not see it. Also in the cell included updater there is no hint for it.

When I look for the release date of belle for my E7 (product code is: 059H112   -  I have looked through all countries that provide a German qwertz keyboard, but couldnt find my code) I just can not find any hint why or when it will be available for my E7.

Actually the update app of Nokia (with the world map) might look cool but is not really useful.Nokia: Just implement a simple field where someone can type his code in and then show his release date. That simple... No big animation, simple straight to the point. But well that is Nokia these days...

So, any ideas what I can do or what I did wrong?

Problem solved by just changing Laptop. I installed OVI on another Laptop, an i could finally update my N8.

also checkk nokia belle avaiablilty page. eg Nokia N* is shown as belle avaialble, but certain operators on n8 are not passed yet. go to phone managment->tools-> product device or update devise and gain the product code. then chk list and see if belle is uploadable. link for belle avaialblilty on symbian website or http://europe.nokia.com/find-products/nokia-belle-update/nokia-belle-update-availability

To check for your Product Code, just type *#0000#.

I too faced this problem; morning it showed but the update failed in between.  In the evening when I sat again for this, the update was not showing at all.

I reinstalled the OVI suite and the Belle update showed again !!!  :-).

Could you tryt the latest beta version Nokia Suite 3.4. You can download and install latest beta version of  Nokia Suite from here ...

To download the installer, you need to log-in with the SAME credentials that you use on this Forum..
