HI - I wonder if someone can help at all please?

I'm trying to install Nokia Suite version 3.4.49 on a new Win XP laptop (no previous install of the Nokia Suite on this laptop) - which I initially had a problem as the installer appeared to hang for more than 24 hours.

I found a previous solution which suggested there was a missing DLL, and could be resolved by installing Windows Media Player 11 - the install now appears to get to 100% (on the progress bar), though the message still shows the text 'Installing Nokia Suite, this may take a few minutes'.

The right hand panel continues to refresh with the features and description content.

Are there any logfiles I can check or use to help diagnose this?

Even though the progress bar reaches 100% just wait for some more time ( 15-20 minutes..max) to see if the installation completes..

Else, you may try the latest Beta version of the Nokia suite from here ... To download, you need to log-in using the SAME credentials that you use on this Forum ...

Unfortunately the install still did not complete :-( so I tried to access the latewst beta release from the URL you provided, and I get a '404 Error - page/location not found error message. Could you verify the URL please?

I have managed to download 3.5.14 Beta, and the installer gets to a similar point (firstly to report that an installation is suspended, and did I want to undo the changes made previously? To which I responded yes, but the new install of the 3.5.14B version is approx 50% and not making additional progress :-(

I've restarted, run a couple of registry cleans/checks etc but still not able to install Nokia Suite (I've also uninstalled all other Nokia apps too) - so now I have none at all.

Run the installation again after disabling any Anti Virus / Windows Firewalls running on your PC ...
