Nokia suite causing blue screen of death during software update

each time I try to update the software of my Nokia c5-03 using Nokia suite, it causes my laptop to show blue screen of death. I need help please.. its a new laptop

Hi, can you check that is your USB port USB3 port? You probably need to download update USB3 drivers from your laptop vendor. Some of the older USB3 drivers have been unstable and newer drivers fix these problems.

i have 2 usb2.0 and 2 usb3.0 totalling to 4 usb ports

Does the problem repeat, if you connect your phone to USB 2.0 port?
