Hi people,

Getting more or less the same error when trying to install ovi or pc suite. (latest version)

Even though i sitll get the latest cable drivers from the nokia website it sitll tells me i dont have the latest,

I have gone through and uninstalled everything i cna find to do with nokia within windows and used pc suite cleaner too. Have removed every entry in the registry associated with nokia and claled nokia and connectivity and sync.

Yet still i am faced with this error during installations of OVI or PC Suite:

'Something's gone wrong, the version of nokia connectivity cable driver already installed on this computer is newer than the one you are trying to install. installation will not continue.'

Can somebody help as i have literally got rid of absolutely EVERY trace of the word 'nokia' i can find within windows and the registry.

Even done a search for things containing the word nokia and deleted them.

Is it the same after uninstalling the Nokia Connectivity Cable drivers..?

I cant actually uninstall the nokia cable driver software as its not showing up anywhere in my uninstall list aswell as the pc connectivity driver.
I have literally removed everything in the registry to do with nokia and pc connectivity and have taken everything out of windows to do with it.
I'm starting to htink it could be an issue with my windows.
Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Are you for sure installing the latest version? Nowadays it's Nokia Suite.

Hi

I installed Nokia Suite 3.2.100. But when I try to open the photos uploaded from Nokia Suite it gives an error message as per attached. I checked with customer care and as per their suggestion uninstalled the Nokia Suite & reinstalled but the problem is still there. How can resolve this problem.

The ONLY way to get the phone security lock reset to 12345 is thru' Nokia Care. A proof of ownership (Bill / Invoice) may be asked ...

Even using the latest Nokia Suite, the problem is whenever I open the photos in the Gallery, Nokia Suite gives a message & stops working.

can I get solution for this problem.
