Finally!

Why has it taken so long for this to be available for me even though it has been out for ages?

It does appear slightly faster than the v21 release, however why does it still take TEN SECONDS to load the 'applications' screen !!?!

[I have appx 50 apps in there]

and another 10 seconds if I flip the phone 90 degrees

Differences:

- Slightly faster

- The phone book/dialler buttons on the home screen are shaded a little lighter than before

- There's an "email" option in the home screen menu... but I don't have this. It only appears when you reset your phone

Now we just have to wait another 4 months for v31 to be out, and I'm sure that will bring minimal performance upgrades as well.

i already have v31.0.008. its been out since august - september i think.

For the 10 seconds to application screen, its could be dependent on how many apps are installed on the phone, and how your apps are arranged. Try grouping similar based apps into folders, like a folder for games, a separate folder for office tools (calus, converters, etc), and other folders.Also, put ALL apps on the memory card unless the app specifies that it must be directly installed onto the phone.

I think I'm going to try putting the top 12 apps in a folder at the same level as the 'applications' folder to see if it is faster.

Is there any way to assign an icon to the folder?

I dont think so, unless you make your own theme.
