Hello,

 

I like to have the menu of the phone in alphabetical order.

Therefore I do the following: menu > options > arrange A to z

That's fine.

 

But after switching the phone off and on again. The order is gone :-(

Any ideas how to store this setting permanently?

Welcome to Nokia discussions board! 

 

When you arrange the menu view A-Z, this should stay the same even after restarting the phone. 

 

First of all, try and remove and re-insert the battery and start the phone again. Then see if the issue disappears. Also, I advise you to perform a soft reset on your phone: type *#7780#. Default lock code is 12345. 

Alternatively, you may also check for updates on Nokia Suite (by going to Tools > Updates).

Hi,

 

still same issue, even after soft-reset :-(

SW update says "Good news ...." :-(
