Tried to do a time-lapse (interval photos) on my 808 recently of an overnight starfield, but at 3am the battery died even though it was plugged into the mains.
After the same result the following night I noted what was going on:
* Fully charged 808
* Started camera, switched to creative->interval and configured the manual settings as necessary
* Plugged phone into charger but phone reported that battery was already full
* Started interval recording at 11pm
* 808 died with empty battery at 3am
* Checked phone at 7am, power still plugged in but phone is not taking any charge
What's going on there then? It's like the battery does not take charge after being full unless it's unplugged and re-plugged in.
Anybody know about this?

Saw another similar post to this one and could only suggest connect a lower output charger and run other applications in the background to make consumption greater than input. Only problem maybe memory leak in any application left running for this length of time may cause it's own issues!

I'd be surprised if the camera app is causing the problem due to a memory leak otherwise this problem would be well known due to people using the interval function.
I don't have a low-power-output charger so I'll try starting the time-lapse with battery almost drained so that it gets the additional duration of the empty-to-full charge time. I'll also run Energy Profiler in the background which might shed a little more light on the matter.
Cheers!

Sorry my bad here, I had suggested to another user previously to start Nokia Maps application requiring GPS as a means of increasing current consumption and was referring to issues with this particular application if run for 6 - 8 hours continuously.
