Came across this review of the 808. http://www.theverge.com/2012/6/25/3113460/nokia-808-pureview-review They love the camera, but apparently the browser doesn't work at all. Is it really this bad?

I read the entire review and watched all the videos on my N8 Belle that has half the processing power and ram with an older browser. The italicized headline fonts didn't look perfect. That was the only problem I saw.

There is a fair amount of just plain **bleep** in that article .. eg: incompatible with non-Nokia headsets .. BS .. I took a random headset attached it to my 808 and pressed play .. guess what - works perfectly. hooked up another wireless headset and boom .. more bouncy sounds ... 5.1 dolby goodness.

The verge of insanity ... and that is being kind

um .. there is nothing wrong with the browser - you can always find ugly websites (the Verge for example - who chose those **bleep** fonts?!) to test a browser out on .. if you don't like the Nokia one use Opera .. 

I wouldn't waste any more time on that review.

the only thing i really hate about the browser is that when opening links in a new window, this window gets on top... otherwise the browser's very decent
