8gig Micro SDHC class 4 compatibility

Got my 5530 on firmware v40 the latest update in december 2011, when i change my memory card to from a 4gig i had to a new 8gig kingstone micro SDHC class 4 it always corrupts all saved multimedia and other files makin it unreadable. Tried formating it with phone and got the same results **bleep** loadin the card using both a card reader and via cable on seperate occasions. How do i solve such, is there a solution?

Did you try formatting it on computer? I had similar problem like that once, kept getting corrupt files. Format was successful and SD card worked again for a short period of time before showing corrupt files again.

Most likely there is something wrong with the SD card itself. Kingston usually have lifetime warranty, so go and replace it with new one.

Tried formating usin my computer so many times, even tried changing file formats and allocation sizes etc, Went back to my retailer and he have me a new one, tried it and got the same results as with the previous one. Its frustrating :smileysad:. Thought it was a virus, but did hard reset my phone and formatted the card again to no avail :smileysad:
