Just thought I'd mention that I was able to purchase a sim adapter that enables me to use both my Lumia 710 (micro sim) and my trusty old Nokia N8 (standard sim). I had been searching for such a device for the last 4 months without any luck and had read of all the disaster stories of how these adapters break the pins in an N8.

The Visionaer® Micro Sim Adapter has now solved my problem. Much more expensive than other adapters, but well worth the money.

This would come down to quality. Most of us here would have tried a few and was unsuccessful,but now we have all found good quality ones that work.

Have still had moments with Visionaer® Micro Sim Adapter in both N8 and iPhone 3GS where increased thickness overcomes srength of ejector spring and probably also puts increased pressure upon the six gold contacts of SIM holder.
