Since I wasn't getting the Belle update I called up Nokia. The executive assured me that we would get an update over this weekend (11/12 Feb. India Time) . The delay is due to some technical issues for RM-596 which are getting fixed. 

Though I know that many of us may have a feeling of being left out while others are enjoying the new update I guess its better to wait for a few days and have an update which is free from problems.

I think you were fobbed off by the "executive" because your product code indicates it is a light swap device. Your next course of action is to click on the link below and follow the advice given by Michaels.

059B656  is still not uploaded. So dont expect it today or tomorrow. It cannot be updated until nokia uploads on its servers.

actually, 12-02-2012 referrs to greenwich time and not local time, so ppl from eastern world who already think that its 12-02-2012 acc to nokia can please keep theur time with themselves. Thank you. N @nelton: shaant reh buddy. Ho jaega. Chillax.

@rayhipkiss ... I already mailed as per the directions in the thread you mentioned 3 days back .... and I have not got any reply till now ... i am still now able to see the update in nokia suite ...
Anybody with this Prod code (059B656) is able to update ?

@All: I had a word with Nokia Care India today. In addition to the rant I went on the lack of communication regarding the belle update for our phone model and also the simple question on "Why the delay?" I got to know about our belle update status.

Our belle update is expected within the next ten days via Nokia Suite. If the impatience gets too much to handle we can approach the nearest Nokia Care Center somewhere around this weekend for the update. 

This is the latest i have got. Shall update as and when i have some news.

I finally got the Belle update done at the Nokia Care Centre. They told me that the update for swap devices would take time to come through the Nokia Suite due to compatibility issues. 

Belle on first appearance is nice. Still got to learn my way around though. Its new but nice.
