- I dont use outlook, and only want to read the N8 calendar on OVI suite - so just like PC suite used to do

You can sync your Calendar with Ovi Calendar on the web, set your phone, send settings to phone via txt and set sync profile to Ovi.com.

Like Bigcheese, I would like to have a offline accessible, synchronized copy, of my N8 calendar on my PC. Unfortunately, only Outlook if fully supported. At least Nokia should support Lightning, or provide a calendar application with Ovi Suite.
