Hi there, I've been trying to get to grips with the various email solutions on the n97.
But there is also the text messaging app that you can add email mailboxes too but I can only download headers. If I try to retrieve a full email I get a blank message. I can how ever see all my mail folders on my mail box not just my inbox.
Why have two apps that do the same thing? What's the difference and or advantages of each apart from the home screen widget ?
Why is the messaging email solution only downloading headers.
Is there a way of using the dedicated email app to download messages from folders other than your main inbox.
sorry for long post

Hi, I am no expert, but this is something that I think Nokia is behind; a good, solid, modern email client. I got tired of the default email app and I did not like the fact that Nokia messaging was affecting my C drive space. So, I tried emoze and I like it. It is very simple to use. The UI can be improved, but overall, it is meeting my needs with work email and gmail accounts. You can give it a try and see if it meets your needs. You can check it out here:

Thanks for the reply
I will give it a look, I also noticed profimail but thats a pay to download app.
I nearly got the standard text message app with email working perfectly with my imap folders, could see them all and their contents as headers but when I tried to download/retreive the emails they come down blank with not even a subject heading.
SO close yet so far.
I have deleted nokia messaging because its just limited.
