Hi Forum.
I'm still trying to work my new N86 phone...the first N series I've ever had. But when my keypad is locked, and when the phone is on standby mode...the menu button flashes white on and off...I say "flashes" but it's more like it fades on and off.! It doesn't do this all the time and I can't work out why it's happening or what I do normally to stop it.
I thought I'd left an application open, but I haven't. So I thought maybe it was a new message come through, which it hasn't. So I thought maybe I left my camera on, which I haven't.
Whats this fading white light on the menu button? HELP PLEASE! I'm going insane!
Thanks

It's called "breathing" and it's function is to show that the phone is switched on. If you have a missed call or message it will flash more often.
The light can be disabled in the settings menu. It should mention it in the user guide if you can't find the option.
