How can I see N8-photo FOLDERs on my laptop ??

Hi

I created photo folders on N8.

But if want see folders and contents on my laptop it is not possible..

I can see everything else than folders on my laptop.

I can see SMSs, photos, videos, etc.

But I cant see photo folders ...(Folder by folder)

HOW CAN I SEE N8-PHOTO FOLDERS ON MY LAPTOP ??

Is there anyone who knows the answer ?

What OS are you using? If you run W7, just connect your USB cable in Suite mode. Open the interface on your lap and browse folders. Phone memory might not be accessable.

Its OS is Symbian-3....

@santo98rini, by folders I suppose you mean the albums you created in the phone's gallery application to organize your images and videos?

I do not know any ways to transfer the album information on your PC, in it's current form the albums and tags used by the phone gallery are not accessible outside the device.

YES. You are right.

I mean photo albums.

Problem is ;

I see everything from laptop on my N8, except photo albums names.

I can see photos in albums but not albums names.

Why is so important for me ?

Because I want classify my photos within albums.

I have 1000 photos, but mixed. I cant classfy them into albums...

Any help would be much appreciated....

Connect N8 to your PC using "Mass Storage" USB mode (not Ovi Suite),

Open Windows Explorer and you'll see the mass storage memory on your N8 as a new Windows drive letter.

From there, you can delete files, copy, drag & drop between your PC and the N8.

Don´t have any answer but perhaps you should go for a sync-program also, do the work there and sync to N8 and pc/:s. For example 4shared 10 GB free

Or sugarsync 5GB free

Look it up, maybe that is better further on to organize photos. When you are in the run so to peak I mean. Just a thought.

PS I use funambol, but that is mainly for outlook, contacts, calender, todo, notes, not photos (use a nas-server for that) DS

Hi Santo98rini,

I don't know why you are experiencing this problem? I works fine on my N8. Please see attached screenshot of the "Images" folder and subfolders on my N8. All pictures are visible with filenames. Perhaps I am misunderatnding your question?

I see same screenshot like you. No problem.

But I can not see photo albums as folders.

Photo transfer easy. No problem.

But FOLDER (ALBUM) transfer is not possible.

Maybe it is because of OPERATING SYSTEM.
