Can anybody help me to perform hard reset on my nokia c5-03??? The method of 5800 doesn't work...

You can always use soft format with *#7370#. It works the same way anyway.

No it's different because it doesn't delete some elements

Its the same. What elements does it not delete? It deletes everything.

It is very easy... You can do it by three methods...
1)soft reset
Just dial *#7780#
It will ask you for reset just give the password
Default is 12345 and you are done
2)Hard reset
Just dial *#7370# and do the same as above
3)Hard reset by button combination
i)switch off your phone
ii)press and hold three keys
Green key(call key)+lock button+volume up key and then press switch on button
iii)hold the three keys till your phone switches on and you have successfully done..

I get the message that my E-memory is full.

Deleting messages or music etc doesn't help, as all that is stored on the C-memory.

I can't use #7780# nor #7370#.

What shouldI do?

I followed your procedure and it worked like a charm.

My phone memory before formatting was down to 9.7MB

and after formatting the phone memory has freed up 51.8MB.

I actually took the SIM card and Micro SD card out of my phone

because it wouldn't let me access the factory reset function.

A message kept popping up telling me to shut down all active features.
