Is there any alternative to PKCS#12 for personal SSL certificates?

I have a Nokia 6121 classic which I am trying to sync with an Exchange server. The software works fine, its just that I have the usual problem of having to approve the certificate every time because the certificate of the exchange server is self signed.

I have read the documentation that says in order to import the certificate it must be in a PKCS#12 file in p12 format. However, if I were to institute the use of PKCS#12 certificates on the exchange server via IIS I imagine I would have to do so for the entire list of users for the server, which doesnt appeal to me.

I dont suppose anyone knows of an alternative/workaround?
