My problem started when i was using the browser. Suddenly it freezes and any key presses has no response. I off and on to reset but it work for a second then freezes again. I did a #*7370# with no help. Eventually I did a 4 finger reset and managed to get everything working again.

But now intermittently it still freezes and sometimes the selections keeps skipping to the next selection like a key git stuck. I have to off/on to get it working again.

Sometimes I also get the message that memory is low and I should delete some messages...or something but upon checking the phone's memory it is still free with 45MB and 6GB in my card. Again, I have to off/on to make it work again. It shows this memory full message when Im opening a text message. I cant read it until i off/on the phone. 

Im on the 11.049 version

There are at least 16 users having the same problem as you and me.

We are all looking forward to getting the solution.

We can only analyze and think it over,but we don't have the answer.

I don't know what the answer of the NOKIA in your country is.

Have you been to the center of NOKIA service?What did they say?

I am located in Malaysia. I am Chinese too.

Anyway I have not gone back to Nokia Service Center. I hope to solve the problem by myself. I will try to hard reset it again.

The problem is its so intermittent that its very difficult to determine what causes it because sometimes the problem changes. Sometimes I have to take out the battery to reset it. Sometimes just off/on will do the trick. Sometimes the key moves rapidly like its stuck and sometimes it just frozen and no key presses will do anything.

Have you taken it back to Nokia?

In a bbs in China,many users are discussing this question and we can't get a solution.

So I visited bbs in other countries and I wanna find the answer.

In fact,this problem is serious and more and more people ask this question,

It's not easy to solve it by yourself.

Maybe you should ask the specialist for help.

maybe if we revert back to 10.047 it would be ok

Regarding the freezing problem, I have never experienced something like that. I own the N79-3 (NAM), running 11.049 SW.

maybe it's about the temperature and the keyboard

i dont think its due to temperature. But keyboard or maybe firmware, or the motherboard itself

how many times a day does yours freezes? mine at least 10 times or more. it happens when im browsing, smsing, playing games, just about anything. It can also freeze on its on without doing anything.

how come nobody took it back to Nokia to be fix?

reinstall the firmware again and check if u still have the problem.

Also a lot depends on application open and the ability of the processor to hadle it so hold down symbian/menu key and close all apps and check if it still freezes.

close bluetooth and wifi scanning if u using memory intensive apps

its not possible to reinstall the firmware. maybe if you take it back to Nokia they can do it.

as for open apps, even with 1 app opened or no app open, it still happens

I had formated the C . I lost my message and my bookmark.

Even I don't insert the memory card, no other theme, not using application,

it also will freeze and only the power button can be used.
